How to play HiLo
Place a bet and press Start: the first card turns over. Guess whether the next card is Higher or same, or Lower or same (on an A or a K: Higher, Lower or Same). Every card is drawn on its own from a 52-card deck; a right guess multiplies by 13 ÷ the number of winning ranks, a wrong one loses the bet. Skip up to 52 cards per round without changing the multiplier, and cash out any time after your first right guess. RTP 95.00%.
How is the HiLo multiplier worked out?
Every card is drawn on its own from a 52-card deck, so each rank always has a 1 in 13 chance. A right guess multiplies by 13 ÷ the number of winning ranks: on a 9, "Higher or same" wins on 5 ranks (9, 10, J, Q, K), so it multiplies by 13/5 = 2.6×. The house edge is taken only once, on the first guess, so the RTP stays 95% however many guesses you make.
When is "Same" available?
Only when the card is an A (the lowest) or a K (the highest). Then "Higher" on an A (or "Lower" on a K) wins on 12 ranks, and "Same" wins when another A (or K) comes, paying 13×.
Does skipping a card cost anything?
No. A skip replaces the card with the next one of the round and keeps the multiplier; you can skip up to 52 cards per round. You can cash out any time after your first right guess.
How do I verify a round?
Card i of a round is floor(float i × 52) from the server seed, client seed and nonce (rank = card % 13 with 0 = 2 … 12 = A; suit = card ÷ 13). Every card, skipped ones included, comes from these floats in order.
