How to play Dice Rivals
You and the house roll your dice at the same time; the higher total wins. Pick a mode before rolling: Low (you 2 dice, the house 1) wins often with small multipliers, Medium (2 vs 2) is balanced, High (you 1 die, the house 2) rarely wins but pays big. On a win the multiplier follows the margin between the two totals: the wider it is, the higher the multiplier, up to 30.2× in Medium and 39.99× in High. The same total returns your stake; a lower one loses. The tables are worked out over every possible roll of the dice; Low returns 93.00%, Medium 92.00%, High 91.00%. Die i uses float i of the server seed, client seed and nonce (floor(float × 6) + 1), your dice first.
Which mode should I pick?
Low (you 2 dice, the house 1): wins about 84% of the time but usually for a small profit. Medium (2 vs 2): wins about 44%, wide margins pay well. High (you 1 die, the house 2): wins only about 9% of the time, but each win pays many times the stake. The higher the mode, the bigger the swings.
How is the multiplier worked out?
By the margin: your total minus the house's. The table of the mode you picked is shown right under the board. The same total returns your stake; a lower one loses.
How can I check a roll?
Die i uses float i of the server seed, client seed and nonce: floor(float × 6) + 1. Your dice come first, then the house's.
